Begin Contributing to the Construction of The Islamic Centre

Dunedin unlike other city have a diverse and united nations of Muslim community, including former refugees from Syria, Palestine, and other parts of the world. The vision from brothers is to formally have an Islamic Centre that performs as Mosque for a place of refuge and a platform for all Muslims in Dunedin to congregate to pray, educate, integrate etc.

The other fundamental objective of the Islamic Centre is to perform as a madrasa that would ensure to establish Quran hifz, alim, alima and other relevant Islamic education programs for Dunedin Muslims and wider New Zealand Muslim community. Currently, there is no formal Islamic education madrasa in the South Island region, thus, the DMA is focussed on eliminating this vacuum.
